Perlis Raja Muda Introduces MQA Mobile Application To Top Students

GEORGE TOWN, Aug 23 (Bernama), The Raja Muda of Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail today introduced a Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) mobile application to 97 Perlis top students here.

Accompanying him was his wife, Raja Puan Muda Tuanku Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil.

They were greeted on arrival by MQA chief executive officer Datuk Prof Dr Rujhan Mustafa and QSR Brands (M) Holdings Sdn Bhd managing director Datuk Mohamed Azhari Kamil.

Dr Rujhan said the students were exposed to the use of the MyMQR (My Malaysian Qualifications Register) mobile application to check for full accreditation programmes status via smart phones.

"I also suggest that students should always check the MQA accredited programmes via the MQR portal at www2.mqa.gov.my/mqr,? he said here today.

A total of 12,292 programmes ranging from certificates to doctorate being offered at the institutions of higher learning in the country were listed in the web portal as of July 31, Dr Rujhan added.
